Dear Pastors, Friends, & Family,
Once again, we can say that God has been good to us! No, things have not gone according to our plan this month, but we rest in the fact that everything is in God’s hands. Of course, we would love to be writing this prayer letter from Spain; however, God is doing some great things in our home church, and we have been able to be around a little more the last couple of weeks to see it. Also, our church had a sendoff Sunday for us, and they were so good to us. Several friends and family came in from California, Colorado, Texas, and all over Georgia. A friend of mine and my brother split the Sunday school time, my pastor preached the morning service, and I got to preach in the evening. They decorated the church, had a meal for us, and gave us a love offering. I am very thankful for my pastor, Keith Smith, and Pine Bluff Baptist Church.
Updates
VISAS – We are still currently waiting for our apostille from the US government. It is taking a little while because our boys were born in Mexico. I spoke to them today, and he assured me that it would be sometime next week (the week of Thanksgiving). Once we receive that, we will take all of our paperwork to the Spain consulate in Miami, FL once again. From there, we are still not sure of the timeframe, but we are still hoping to get there before Christmas.
SUPPORT – God has allowed a few more churches to take us on this month, and we have made it to the 90% mark!
