Dear Pastors, Friends, & Family,
The time is getting closer and closer for us to go to Spain, and we are very excited about being able to get there, get settled in, and get to work! We are looking forward to taking our survey trip next month; I am especially excited for Christy and the boys to finally see Mallorca.
It is our desire to move to Spain permanently the last week of October. With that being said, we need your prayers. From support, to visas, to moving costs there is a lot that needs to come together, but we know that God can handle all of it. Our support level is steadily increasing, and we feel like there are still several churches that we have visited that will end up taking us on.
Many of you have mentioned wanting to help us get to the field as that time nears. It is near! I have put a list below, but I would like to give a little more detail. I have been looking at flights, and it looks like I can find tickets between $750-$1000 per person. Each one of us will be allowed one suitcase for free and one for $100; everything after that will cost $200. We are not shipping a container, so we will end up with twelve to fifteen suitcases. Getting into an apartment and a church building each require two months of rent, a deposit, and a real estate fee; so we are estimating $4000 for each. There is a checkmark next to the vehicle cost because we already had a church give us money to buy a car once we get over there! Also, we will need money to buy everything needed for a house and to set up a church building. Whether you can help with the prayers, the finances or both, we are very grateful for all of it.
